Ninety Six Historical Society 

On June 6th Revoluntionary Re-Enactor Gary Pender will begin a  hike/march from Augusta, Georgia to Star Fort, Ninety Six, South Carolina. He has extensivley researched the original route taken by Andrew Pickens and Henry (Light horse) Lee and their troops. The troops marched to Star Fort to assist Nathaniel Greene and his American troops, against the British troops held up at the fort.

 For those of you who are interested in joining march, please contact him.  Keep in mind this march/hike will be over several days, outside and in the elements.

If you are unable to participate in the march but would like to support those marching, you may greet them at the Ninety Six Historical Site, Hwy 246, Ninety Six, South Carolina upon their arrrival. Please contact Mr. Pender for additional details.
