POSTER CONTEST WINNERS

The following students are winners of the Ninety Six Historical Society Logo contest that was held at the Ninety Six Elementary School for grades 3, 4 and 5.
3rd Grade Winners are : 1st Place- Lyndsay Peppers, 2nd Place- Kerry Knepley, 3rd Place- Krishon Mathis
4th Grade Winners are : 1st Place- Kai Fyock, 2nd Place-I Guadalupe Maceda, 3rd Place- Bri Freeman
5th Grade Winners are: 1st Place- Cooper Kelly, 2nd Place-Gaalon Lukie, 3rd Place- Jonathan Traynham
The final overall winner was Cooper Kelly, who sketched the Logan House located at the Ninety Six National Historic Site. Mr. Kellys drawing will be used as the logo for the society. Congratulations Mr. Kelly on a job well done!
The Historical Society would like to thank all the students who participated in the poster contest. There were wonderful and very talented drawings of our town and our area. The posters were judged on concepts and ideas. We are very proud of all the work submitted and all posters will be on display at the 96 Visitors Center. All prizes were awarded at the Ninety Six School District meeting on February 8th by the Historical Society President, Vice President, the Mayor of Ninety Six and the Director of Tourism for Ninety Six.
Once again, Congratulations to all the winners.
