Just found this wonderful site! I am researching my father's family - Harter. I know Buddy was a cousin. Any direction you can give me would be appreciated.
do they still have Harter family reunions?

Donald is the son of George E. Clayton.
George is the son of Velma Clayton.
Velma is the daughter of Joseph B. Jordan.
Joseph is the son of John Jordan.
John is the son of Adam Jordan. 1778 in South Carolina
Adam is the son of James Jordan. about 1752 in Horry County, South Carolina
James is the son of Robert Jordan . 1715 Horry, South Carolina
Robert is the fifth great grandfather of Donald.
Looking for information on Adam James and Robert all born in the 1700's in SC

William McElwee II, just recently I have found out that William lived in Ninety Six before he came here to York County, SC, in the 1750 / 1760's. William is my 5th great grandfather. I am searching where he may have lived during that time. Thank you
